Wiener Neustadt Railway Station is one of the busiest domestic stations in Austria. Renovations included the installation of new covered platforms as well as the construction of a new pedestrian tunnel and footbridge, providing improved access to the platforms. Additionally, suggestions for a second forecourt to ease the flow of commercial and public traffic were considered.
