As part of a modernized railway track in Vienna Hütteldorf two new rail bridges became necessary. An essential design goal was to contribute to the relaxation of the heterogeneous environment through a calm and consistent design.

Since the new route is substantially above the existing route, we situate the main construction elements of the bridge under the route to maintain the urban scale. By using elements oft he historical track like the arch shape or the reseda green color we try to achieve a good integration into the continuous appearance of the historical engineering structures of the Wienfluss regulation.
