Vienna Main Train Station

To improve connections to the city development areas near Vienna’s central station, a bridge and pedestrian overpass running over the train tracks and adjacent street are to be planned. Key design features include flat arch supports which have been tilted towards one another to match the angle of the railings and the front faces of the bridge supports. A net support structure enables the use of thin building components, which allow a sleek and transparent design.
