A freeze-frame image of an air bubble rising through water served as the inspiration for this design. The bubble is surrounded by an indoor area which embraces the central structure. Views over the resulting internal ‘landscape’, both from inside and out, remain clear and unobstructed.

The concept functions without the need for theatre-set like designs which when constructed can often appear over the top. Virtual landscapes can be created for special theme events. Digital projections onto interior surfaces and closed sunscreens enable the swimming hall to be given a variety of atmospheric themes.
