The three-part building ensemble consists of an office high-rise and two residential buildings, which create a closed edge towards the street and emphasize the urbanity of the quarter.
The narrow side of the 26-storey high-rise building faces the lake and, in combination with the other planned buildings on the neighboring building sites, creates a harmonious urban situation. It develops from a three- to four-storey terraced base, has occasional projections and recesses that make the high-rise appear elegant and slender.
The apartments will be divided into two seven-storey structures, giving them optimal lighting, permeability and a view of the lake. The buildings are divided horizontally by surrounding bands of balconies and terraces on the top floors and, together with the high-rise, have a common design language.
In the center of the building site there is plenty of space for a green courtyard. It forms the lowest level of green areas that develop in a terrace-like manner. The green center accommodates children’s play areas and open spaces for all residents.
The high-rise is designed as a reinforced concrete structure with flat ceilings. An aluminum element facade alternates with PV modules with integrated insulation. The residential buildings are planned in hybrid wood construction with solid staircase cores, HBV ceilings and rear-ventilated wooden facades.
