The new Eurogate underground station on the S7 airport express line is accessed by two entrances with escalators and lifts whose configuration allows natural lighting on the platform level. The street level is sheltered by a flying roof and a glass enclosure.

Plans for Rennweg station originally included a design for a flying roof over the entrance area, following the same lines as the flow of pedestrians. However, decisions to build above the station restricted the design to an underground location.
