As part of the expansion of the Nordbahn (Northern Railway) between Vienna and the state border, we are responsible for the building design of 17 railway stations and stops, as well as 30 technical buildings.

The expansion of the Northern Railway will enable higher train frequencies and more frequent suburban rail services, while reducing travel times between Vienna and Prague for long-distance services. Stations and stops will be designed to be fully accessible, while Bike & Ride and Park & Ride facilities will facilitate connections with private transport.

In line with the principles of the circular economy, sustainable building materials will be prioritised. For example, the roofs of smaller railway stops and the technical buildings will be constructed using timber.
