The concept shows a straight-cut tower that rises above a 2-storey base. In addition to dividing the building mass into a Children´s day care centre base and a residential tower, the vertical volume is structured by recesses and incisions. Two volumes stacked on top of each other are separated by clear caesuras. The lower caesura marks the special use of the common room with its large roof terrace, while the upper caesura marks the special use of cluster flats. A ‘net’ of balconies and vertical poles in front of the building creates a filter layer around the building, which further differentiates the structure and creates a green veil by means of planting.

Following the stacking of functions, green spaces of different open space typologies are offered on 2 levels. The day-care centre garden at ground floor level and the roof garden above the plinth. The high greening factor is continued vertically and generates cooling and air purification effects for the building climate.
